16th Berlin Audio Play Festival of the Independent Scene

Competitions, Discussion, Live-Acts

The 16th Berlin Audio Play Festival offers a four-day forum for artistic audio plays, documentaries and sound art. The festival centres around the competition for independent productions and the in-depth talks with the authors. Highlights of the live programme include the performance La modulation sismographique by Stella Geppert, the percussionist Katharina Ernst with Polylog and a reading by actor Andreas Fröhlich from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. Also featured: Irrtümliche Liebe, a new work by visual artist Eran Schaerf, and Schorsch Kamerun, who will sing and perform on subculture and responsibility. The panels will address questions about AI in audio art and the future of radio features.
