The event and exhibition revolve around Berlin as a divided city from the perspective of DAAD fellows and their close collaboration with the Akademie der Künste. The focus is on filmic and artistic works created in the 1970s that reflect on West Berlin as a place to live and a divided city from the perspective of the fellows (including Marcel Broodthaers, Safi Faye, Daniel Buren, and Daniel Kienholz).
