Das Triadische Ballett (Triadic Ballet) Schlemmer / Bohner / Hespos

Dance Performance

Gerhard Bohner’s new version of Oskar Schlemmer’s legendary costume ballet was celebrated worldwide from 1977 to 1989. It was only in 2014 that the masterpiece reentered the repertoire, newly rehearsed by Bohner’s soloists Ivan Liška and Colleen Scott with the Bavarian State Ballet II, now the Junior Ballet. Danced with artistic freshness and perfection in Bohner’s fantastically preserved costumes, it is a glorious reminder of dance’s 20th century awakenings 100 years after Schlemmer’s 1922 premiere.
