Over four days surrounding the date of 3 October, theatre-makers Gesine Danckwart and Katrin Hentschel open an “East-West Canteen” at the Akademie der Künste to mark the 35-years anniversary of German reunification. Around a shared table, stories, attitudes, designs, music and menus invite guests to discuss and celebrate German reunification and European borders.
