60-Year Anniversary of the German Centre of the International Theatre Institute

Symposium

Peace is based on communication. This conviction, which grew up around postwar cultural organizations like the German Centre of the International Theatre Institute (ITI), has always been prevalent. Nevertheless, while the general exchange between theatre professionals was recently a main focus, today’s attention is increasingly shifting to the rights of artists and to the subject of censorship. Based on their own experiences, international artists discuss the changing demands on cultural organizations.

With Mohammad al-Attar, Nora Amin, Claudia Bosse, Christel Gbaduidi, Joachim Lux, Chang Nai Wen, Kristina Stang, Milo Rau, Regula Venske and Joanna Warsza.
Here you can find their biographies as well as the evening programme.
